Tom Ellis was born on 17 November 1978 in Cardiff, Tom Ellis whose full name is Thomas John Ellis is a Welsh actor. His Father’s name is Christopher John Ellis, who is a Baptist minister. And mother’s name is Marilyn Jean. He has three sisters. His uncle and one sister are also Baptist ministers.
Tom Ellis went to High Storers School to further his early education. While in the city of Sheffield, he also played the French horn in the Youth Orchestra. In addition, Tom Ellis considered pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in dramatic studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
He played the lead role of Justine in the television drama series “No Angel” aired on Channel 4 and starred Gary Preston of the hit TV series Miranda. Which was broadcast on BBC from 9 November 2009 to 1 January 2015.
Later, from July to August 2009, Tom Ellis starred alongside Fay Ripley in the television show Monday.
Tom was given a leading role as Detective Inspector Bland, directed by Agatha Christie. In addition, Tom Ellis starred as a Hollywood doctor in the USA Network TV serial Arrangement Rush.
Tom Ellis was offered a role in the TV series “Lucifer”, which aired on Fox TV in February 2015. The drama series was shot in the light of the comic of the same name. Which started on 25 January 2016. The Lucifer series was reinstated by Netflix for its fourth season which released on 8 May 2019.
He also has two daughters, Alice married in 2006 with English actress Tamzin Othwaite. After his divorce from Tamzin Othwaite in 2014, he admitted to having a one-night stand with another actress during the 2013 television film.
